Wisconsin-based Town n’ Country Title (TNCT) recently donated $2,500 to Firefighters Credit Union, which in turn pledged to match dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000 to the local Hunger Task Force of La Crosse.
In total, $184,000 was raised through the campaign. Pictured is (left to right) Jennifer Luedtke (TNCT HR manager), Nancy McHugh (TNCT president/owner) and Bruce Zmolek (president of Firefighters Credit Union).
Luedtke said the title company continues to hold a food drive and drop off location in partnership with the Holmen Area Rotary Club for the Holmen, Wis., food bank that supports the local community where TNCT is headquartered.
Meeting Demand
Louisiana-based Cypress Title donated a portion from its May closings to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, which will provide 4,500 meals to those in need. The number of those who need food assistance has dramatically increased since the virus and our local food bank is working overtime to ensure the demand for meals is being met, said Nikki McDowell, Cypress Title’s director of marketing and client relations.
Lunch Is on Us
Commerce Title in Baton Rouge, La., treated the entire COVID-19 staff of 150 people at a local hospital to lunch, reported the title company’s marketing coordinator, Katie Wilcox.
